We are open by appointment only between 10:00am - 4:00pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and between 10:00am - 12:00pm on Tuesday.
If you do not have a pre-booked appointment or if you miss your appointment time, you are welcome to come during our walk-in session:
Monday 4:00pm - 4:30pm
Wednesday 4:00pm - 4:30pm
Thursday 4:00pm - 4:30pm
Friday 4:00pm - 4:30pm
Each family or household can take up to 10 different items each week. We also have a limited amount of fruit and vegetables available.
There is currently a large demand for food assistance and many families in need of support each week, so we kindly ask for your understanding and consideration.
Each family or household can choose to come once a week and can visit up to a maximum of 50 times in total.
Our service is designed to give temporary support and relief during your time of need which was brought on by an emergency, disaster or unexpected circumstance. We hope through our service, you will be able to save a few dollars on your weekly grocery bill, and in turn, help you and your family get back up on your feet again sooner.
Yes, you can send any member of your family to shop. It does not need to be the same person each week, however, each family can only visit once a week. In order to ensure we have groceries available to help as many families as possible, we cannot allow multiple members of one family or household come and shop multiple times a week.
We are committed to making each client's shopping experience a positive one and for privacy reasons, we only book one client at a time for each shopping time slot. Another reason for the need to make a booking / appointment is to ensure the shop will be attended, as we are also busy during the day picking up more goods for our shelves.
Please bring your photo ID upon your first visit which shows your FULL NAME and current residential ADDRESS. And also, don't forget your shopping bags!
Absolutely not! There are no membership fees or entrance fees or application fees. All items are free of charge.
Sorry we do not offer a home delivery service.
Love For Australia is a privately funded charity with faithful and generous donors supporting us financially to enable us to purchase the items we place on our shelves. On occasion, kind individuals have also donated goods for our shop.
